2007 Fishing Derby
When: Sunday June 3, 2007
Sign-in and derby rules at 8:45
Fishing from 9:00 until noon
Judging at noon with awards immediately following
Where: Horn Pond, Woburn MA (Directions below)
Sign-in will be in the parking lot on Pond Street
What you need: Scouts should bring their own fishing rod, bait and/or lures, and a bucket or stringer to keep your fish alive until judging.
There is no need to get a fishing license, as this is a license-free fishing weekend in Massachusetts.
Absolutely no boats are allowed.
Awards:
- Smallest Fish
- Longest Fish
- Most Fish
We will only award one trophy per angler. If someone wins in multiple categories, he may select the trophy of his choosing.

Directions:
Interstate 93 South to Interstate 95 south (also 128 South)
Take the exit for Route 38 in Woburn (Exit # 35) this is a rotary
Exit the Rotary headed on Route 38 South (toward Woburn Center)
Travel on this road for 1.8 miles (going through Woburn Center)
Turn left onto Arlington Road (first traffic light after passing through the town center)
Travel for 1.0-mile on Arlington Road and it runs into Pond Street
Bear right on Pond Street and the parking lot for Horn Pond will be on your right.
