Roundtable Update: Colin Brace handed out materials from the meeting.

 

Tiger Transportation Day: This event for Tiger Scouts will be held on October 21^st at Home Depot at 9:00.

 

Financial Update: Jim Barry distributed monthly reports. We seem to be in good financial standing right now because we have completed registration, but have not yet paid Council.

 

Registration: Registration went very well. We have 67 scouts registered for this year. This number is consistent with last year: 30 new scouts registered and 29 scouts from last year did not return.

 

October Pack Meeting: Monday, October 30th, 6:30pm, Lower Church

Opening: Den 14

Set-up: Den Leaders who can help set-up are asked to arrive at 6:15.

Craft: Joanne Brace will coordinate. Scouts will be making spiders.

Donuts: Paul Fitzpatrick will coordinate. Maureen will confirm that we have the coffee and donut room for this. If not, we will need a large tarp.

Candy Corn Jar: Lisa Barry will coordinate.

Games Pumpkin bean bag game, washer toss, limo: Bill Turosz will coordinate

Leaf Raking: Our annual Scout community charity will take place on the first Sunday in November at St. Williams Church at 8:30.

 

Battleship Sleepover: We have decided to do the USS Massachusetts at Battleship Cove on Saturday, November 25^th (Thanksgiving weekend). We have 19 people signed up so far. Cost is $45/per person.

 

UMass Lowell Riverhawks Hockey Game: We have picked Saturday, January 13, 2007 @ 7:00pm vs. Providence College. More information will be available next month.

 

Popcorn Update: All information should be handed out to scouts. Forms are due back to Joanne Brace or Maureen Montecalvo by November 26^th.

 

Religious Medals w/Deacon Bill: Deacon Bill has agreed to work with Scouts interesting in earning the Parvuli Dei or the Light of Christ medals. He will start classes in October. Each scout will receive a workbook to complete at home and then meet with Deacon Bill sometime in January.

 

November Pack Meeting: We need a presenter for this meeting. Mike Puleo will check into having a meteorologist speak. If anyone has ideas for a presenter, please email Maureen or Mike. Uniform inspection will also occur at this meeting. Please remind your scouts to wear their uniforms to this meeting.

 

Christmas Charity: ItÕs not too soon to begin thinking about Christmas! This year our charity will be to help the children whose parents are in prison and wouldnÕt otherwise receive presents. We will ask Scouts to bring a wrapped gift ($10-$15), labeled with gender and age, to the December pack meeting.
