The mandatory uniform includes a shirt (short or long sleeve), neckerchief, neckerchief slide, World Scout Crest Emblem, Unit Numerals (49 for Pack 49), U.S. Flag Emblem, and Cub Scout Den Numeral. Optional but popular parts of the uniform are: hat, belt and buckle.

When and where are meetings?
Pack meetings (for all members of Pack 49 and their families) are usually the last Monday of each month during the school year at St. WilliamÕs Parish. Check our Calendar for each month.
Individual dens meet at different times and different places, but most also meet at St. WilliamÕs. You will be informed of when your meetings are at the beginning of the school year.
My son is in the 3rd grade but has never been a scout before. Will he have to start at the first rank?
All scouts start with the Bobcat rank, but will be part of a group of boys in the same grade, and will work toward that rank as well. The ranks are:
1st Grade - Tiger
2nd Grade - Wolf
3rd Grade - Bear
4th and 5th Grade - Webelos
