Next Pack Meeting: Monday, October 30^th, 6:30pm, Lower Church. WeÕll be having our annual Halloween Party. You are welcome to wear costumes or your uniform. (No weapons please) WeÕll be playing games and doing a craft. Siblings are always welcome.

 

Next Committee Meeting: Sunday, October 1st, 6:30pm, Parish Center. We welcome all adult members of our pack to come and share their ideas and help us plan upcoming pack events. Please consider joining us and keep up-to-date on pack activities.

 

U.S.S. Massachusetts Battleship Sleepover: Located at Battleship Cove, New Bedford, MA, Saturday/Sunday, November 25/26. Cost is $45.00 per person. A parent/guardian must attend with their scout. Siblings over 6 years old are also welcome to attend. Payment is due in full at the October pack meeting.

 

Popcorn Fundraiser: WeÕll be doing our Trails-End Popcorn Fundraiser again this year. Forms and information will be passed out tonight. Please read over the information and call Joann Brace or Maureen Montecalvo if you have any questions. We are looking for someone to take over the popcorn fundraising position for next year. Anyone interested can work with Joann & Maureen this year to make the transition an easy one.

 

Service Project: We will be raking leaves at St. WilliamÕs Church on the morning of Sunday, November 5, 2006. Please keep the date free. More info to follow in October.

 

Pack T-Shirts & Sweatshirts: We will be placing an order for t-shirts & sweatshirts next month. Please place your order at the TreasurerÕs Table if you are interested.

 

Open Positions: We are currently looking for a new Pack Scribe and Committee Chairperson. Brief job descriptions are below. Please consider volunteering for one of these worthwhile positions:

 

Scribe – Take notes at the monthly committee meetings and email them to all den leaders & committee members. Please see our current Scribe, Lisa Barry, for more information.

 

Committee Chairperson – Make up agendas for committee meetings, announcements for pack meetings and oversee general pack activities. Please see our current Committee Chair, Maureen Montecalvo, for more information.

 

We would like to welcome all of our new families to Pack 49! We are looking forward to another fun, exciting cub scout year. We hope you all get involved and enjoy this wonderful scouting experience.
