MAY COMMITTEE MEETING

The next committee meeting will be held on Wednesday MAY 10 The meeting will be held at 7 PM. These meetings are open to all troop related adults. If you would like to know what is happening in the troop and have a say in its direction please come.

EAGLE COURTS OF HONOR

Troop 49 will be holding an Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Kyle Webber and Justin Melloni on Saturday June 17, 2006.

Toop 49 will also be holding an Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Jeffrey Lobdell on Saturday July 8 , 2006.

This is a very special day for the new Eagle Scouts so please try to make this event.

MERIT BADGES

There are Merit Badge Councilors available at the troop meetings to help the scouts. Most merit badges are covered. Some scouts have even emailed some of their requirements to the councilor to finish the badge.

UNIFORMS

Scouts are expected to be in full uniform for the meetings. All of the scouts have been issued new scarves. The uniform is important to set an example for the new scouts and to show their scout spirit. If the scarf is lost it will cost $10 to replace it with a new one.

FAMILY BBQ

On June 24th, the troop will be having a family BBQ at The Descoteaux's. We hope you can join us. More information will be sent out at the beginning of June.

BOTTLES & CANS

The troop does not do any fundraising during the year. The funds for the troop come from the bottles and cans that are dropped off behind the parish center. Each Tuesday throughout the year we have a dedicated group of parents who come down and sort them. We can still use additional help. Please consider helping.
